Possibility of Rain in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki

Kathmandu: Rainfall is expected in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces today due to the influence of local and westerly winds, according to the weather forecasting division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
This morning, a drizzle was observed in various parts of the country, including Kathmandu Valley. Currently, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly regions and mostly clear elsewhere.
This afternoon, the weather in the hilly areas, including Koshi Province, will be partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible in several places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly regions, with partly to mostly cloudy conditions in other areas. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the Koshi region tonight.
